Biography
Dr. Mahajan’s research focuses on hydrogeology and hydrology, particularly in understanding the impacts of human and climate influences on surface water and groundwater interactions, solute and heat transport in aquifers, and water quality. Beyond research, Dr. Maharjan actively engages in teaching natural science courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels, demonstrating a commitment to fostering student research experiences through specialized courses and independent studies. He serves as a committee member for the Science Fair Region IV and is dedicated to broadening participation in STEM fields.
